How fresh is the coffee?
Every bag is roasted to order — meaning we don't roast until you place your order. This ensures you're getting the freshest coffee possible, not beans that have been sitting in a warehouse. We recommend enjoying your coffee within 2–4 weeks of the roast date for peak flavor.
How long does shipping take?
Orders typically arrive within 5–7 business days. Once your order is roasted and packed, you'll receive a tracking number so you can follow it all the way to your door.
Do you offer subscriptions?
Subscriptions are coming soon! We're working on a way for you to get your favorite Soltra coffees delivered automatically on your schedule. Stay tuned — we'll announce it to our email list first.
What is single-origin coffee?
Single-origin coffee comes from one specific place — a single country, region, or even a single farm. Unlike blends, which combine beans from multiple sources, single-origin coffees let the unique character of that place shine through in the cup. At Soltra, our single-origin offerings are traceable all the way back to the farmers who grew them.
What grind should I choose?
Not sure which grind to pick? Here's a quick guide: Whole Bean is best if you grind at home for maximum freshness. Standard works great for drip coffee makers and pour-over. Espresso is a fine grind suited for espresso machines and moka pots. Coarse is ideal for French press and cold brew.
How should I store my coffee?
Keep your coffee in an airtight container at room temperature, away from direct light and heat. Avoid storing it in the fridge or freezer — moisture and odors can affect the flavor. For best results, buy in smaller quantities and enjoy within a few weeks of the roast date.
What's the difference between a blend and a single-origin?
A blend combines beans from multiple origins to create a consistent, balanced flavor profile — like our House Blend, which is smooth and approachable every time. A single-origin coffee, like our Colombia, highlights the distinct character of one specific region. Neither is better — it comes down to what you're in the mood for.
Do you offer wholesale or bulk pricing?
Yes! We offer bulk sizing (up to 12 LB) on select products, making Soltra a great fit for cafés, offices, and avid home brewers. For wholesale inquiries, please reach out to us directly and we'll be happy to discuss options.
Can I return or exchange my order?
Because coffee is a perishable product, we're unable to accept returns. However, if there's an issue with your order — damaged packaging, incorrect item, or quality concern — please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll make it right.
